I took some advice to shape the body out using simole 3d shapes and I think that made it easier to figure out lenghts in relation to each other. I didn't use a reference though so I should try to do both next.
Naked Tiki sketch I tried finishing in Ibis Paint... I don't think I like it much. Ibis has some interesting features, but I may try again in CSP. I also had to resize it a lot just so it wouldn't be so big!
Part of why line art is so hard for me is cause I don't have the patience, finesse or know how to properly set and utikize pen pressure for my drawing tablet. Even though I can do it kind of alright with oencil and even paint, with digital art lines it feels... Alien, maybe. Like I want to press on the tablet at the same consistency all the time or the pen comes out weird. I mean, it works great for colors and blending, deoending on the brush. But also, I just don't know what I want my digital linework to look like still. I don't know if I want sharp and straight, or wavy, or several sketchy lines. I just can't get that down and it shows. Especially when I make lines over pencil art. How do people even fogure this sort of thing out? I feel like it's holding me back.
I realized Saias could also work here, but the dynamic would be different. He doesn't seem like an overtly possessive guy, but more of a helicopter sibling, in the way a doctor would be. Does that make sense?

Here I am. I drew Tiki naked here. I later tried filling the lines with a marker, but that took away a lot of the depth of them... So I'll see if I can find a feature to retain these lines.
