politics,mention of necropolitics,ie the poltics of death and who gets to live,current events. but thru an offsite video

continuing to hit our weirdly shaped vtubing drum. we put a lot of focus on politics and theory/philosophy sometimes? we dont talk about it with focus every stream ; but thats because otherwise that might be all we stream about lol

Last weeks stream included a lengthy 6 hour??? discussion of Necropolitics triggered by current events, but the scope went well beyond that. It was a great contextualization of death and mourning and the ways our bodies are valued...or not in death,weather our bodies are valued alive at all; and whos deaths 'must' be honored vs whose deaths can be ignored or accepted as business as usual.

Need to do a masterpost, heres a lazy one
its hard to say what our main vocation is. streaming we suppose? maybe drawing? it was supposed to be video essays but uuug we waffle a lot with our endeavors. as a disabled artist we take a lot of time to finish stuff. if nothing else we tend to stream every friday when we can muster it

other..our main thing used to be video essays, but since we lost access to adhd medication its been few and far between that we've finished anything lately. our "main" youtube channel holds most of our old essaays. eventually we'll be moving them over to internet archive and peertub3 and focus less on youtube as our main video platform.

pedo jacketing, taboo art discourse, implied Masturbation, mental anguish,thought spiraling

This is a wild first post but here. we have taken so much psychic damage over the years and especially this year over censorship,lolisho,babyfur,ect discourse....its been maddening and isolating. we needed to make some vent art about it so we did. we keep having private convos where people are much more patient or understanding about this stuff. about "degenerate art" and the value of fiction even fiction that offends others, or would be immoral if done in real life. we have spent a long time on the internet trying predict what will get us social murdered, or ejected from community. the panaopticonic pressure is still a thing, but its lossened its grip on us. we have the unluck of wanting to do way more than just nsfw art so we will probably always have some noose of Damocles around our neck, but we're seeing so many of our queer peers; fellow degenerates speak out. telling people that fashisim is weaponizing folks' disgust in order to hurt all of us. that censoring art that doesnt hurt anyone will lead to greater acts of censorship...and of course just seeing artists like that still having a following has been encouraging too.
having an account on here is a big deal for us. we spent a long time looking for platforms where we dont have to censor or self censor our art. where we can make taboo art and be openly left. every site has different boundries we have to deal with, even ones considered for free expression of messy art. the mainstream/profitable internet is so draining to exist in. and we'll probably be further drained by having a foot in both. but at least we're making babysteps toward some sort of equilibrium.
