Page 4. The first panel gave me a lot of trouble . Side profiles are hard for me, and I usually draw in 3/4. But this wouldn't have worked here. Still, I might end up redrawing it. The last panel depicts a skipped heart beat.

Started sketching the first two pages. I am taking various shortcuts for drawing this, such as non detailed hands or backgrounds. I don't know if I will leave it as a sketch or color it/ make it digital lineless, since I did describe lighting in the script. Let's see how I feel later.

This kind of thing is so... Aaaaaaaah , it fills me with butterflies. The idea of using a toddler because they look like someone you loved is messed up in the sexiest way. But also how Sigurd doesn't want to see Seliph as a replacement for Deirdre is sweet...
I'm pretty happy I wrote this, and so fast too. Thinking about the little details I sprinkled in about Yu and Rei's personalities, their lack of proper communication, Yu's childishness, and Rei's mental confusion. I only wish I was good at making my prose longer and less blunt.
And I did all this for what is essentially "just" a fetish story. I put my heart into all my art and I don't think that is lessened just because it's for sex appeal.
I wish straight shota had more plain looking women. Them all having hourglass figures and large boobs is offputting enough for me not to read that many doujins about it. I don't even usually mind this sort of body type usually, but I guess paired with shota it feels less appealing? I don't mind it as much with loli, not sure why. It could be the character writing/implications in the designs.
I also thought it could be that it somehow feels too self-inserty, like you're supposed to be a man reading these and putting yourself in the place of the shota. I don't enjoy putting myself into stories, nor do I identity myself as male, so it could simply be a difference in demographic.
I feel like lolishota x adult is at it's best when the adult is just as clueless as the kid. Like they are immature and still learning about the world, a bumbling fool, socially unaware/inept. I also like to pair this personality with a precocious kid who is overconfident or "wise beyond their years". The contrast is fun.
