i think most of this definitely comes down to people who continue to think that fictional kinks = real life attractions, and of course people who think that those with certain thought crimes should be exterminated .-.
but it's still just hard to warp my head around the concept that people live their lives with the expectation that the personality they primarily see someone use is the only personality they have, as if we all don't act different under different situations.
it's a pathetic one-dimensional way of thinking, and goes to show that a lot of people who are either around my age or somehow older than me are immature dunces who don't understand a lick of anything that happens around them.
there's a post about how everyone has different personalities they switch to depending on the situation, and moreover how neurotypicals just flatout deny that's a thing that happens
and it's got me thinking about how a lot of us here have entirely separate identities to handle cub/lolisho stuff. it's something i would've gone with myself... if people didn't act like they'd be "betrayed" if they found out i draw this stuff.
it's a really huge deal when someone gets """revealed""" to be drawing this stuff, as if it's a huge betrayal that's the end of the world. and that sucks! that really sucks!
people shouldn't have to hide the art they draw, but even if they do it for reasons outside of "there a lot of people on the internet that have nothing better to do than ruin people's lives"... the fact someone can connect the dots and go "wow. this person is evil and manipulative for not telling everyone about this! now i must shame them publicly for this!" is fucking absurd societal standards
