furaffinity has sucked for eons (and keeps getting worse every year), inkbunny is ran by a freeze peach douchebag, and e621 has a hideously and blatantly queerphobic community
and every other furry art site that tries to start up immediately bans feral art and gets their panties in a bunch about ABDL, and then shuts down because nobody wants to use a shitty place like that
a lot of douchebags will continue to exist and there's certainly a few shitbags who continue to harass me from time to time, but they're just noise when looking at the broad scope of everything here.
i should be more loud and proud about this stuff, i've mellowed out over time, i guess because it's hard to find new ways of saying "lolicon isn't bad and you're complicit in the suffering of CSA survivors if you say otherwise" lmao
something i'll always be damn proud of is the fact i've been able to give a voice to a lot of people here, to those who don't participate in lolisho/cub.
i've genuinely been able to sway the minds of quite a few people, and i'm sure there's many more who've silently agreed with what i've said. and furthermore, i've been able to talk to a bunch of wonderful people and help them sort out their complex emotions and thoughts about this stuff.
ultimately i'm glad i stood up for what i believe in, to the point where i risked it and just didn't make a seperate identity for any of this.
this means a lot to me, all of this. and i'm tired of people getting on their high horses to yell about how i'm endangering the youth or whatever, when i was the youth who was endangered by predators and rapists to begin with.
so, i'm glad i've been able to carve out a little space like this. with many friends not only accepting this, but being more than glad to talk to me about this stuff. and making a lil community where we can all be Freaks together.
to wit: 10 minutes before i put this main post up, i got followed by another person on mastodon social (which is why i pulled the plug now)
and, lo and behold, they are now following an account called "MAP porn". do i need to explain to you what that entails .-.
...and i also found out they follow a "degenerate porn addict" account that has a session number. the point has already been made but i still need to rub it in that people like this followed me frequently, and it's been really bothersome.
i should add further reasoning is that many of the people i see on masto soc... are very obviously into the idea of abusing children. i don't just mean "ew they're icky pedos", idgaf if you're a paraphile so long as you don't intend to harm (thought crimes do not exist). but these people very clearly either say or just boost posts from people who demonstrate they want to abuse children for real.
so, yeah. i just don't trust open registration instances like that.
...which now that i say out loud, makes me further concerned weirdos from masto soc kept flocking to this account just to follow me... and only me. so.
honestly i'm surprised the opposite hasn't happened >.>

it's been an overwhelming yes, so i've decided to pull the plug now.
to further elaborate on my reasoning, i've been seeing a lot of... just, weird people follow me lately. it's either brand new fresh accounts or dormant accounts that follow... just me. and maybe one or two other people.
that shit creeps me the fuck out, so i'm blocking that instance. these people should be registering to a proper LSC instance instead anyways, what the fuck are y'all doing on masto soc?
okay. so, y'all. i'm tired of seeing these weirdo mastodon.social accounts pop-up and follow me, they're really creeping me the fuck out. there's so many instances in the LSC space with open registrations, and they just keep showing up to follow basically only me and a couple other people.
should i finally just defederate masto soc once and for all?
