Unpopular opinion, but I don't think ppl should have pride in anything they didn't chose for themselves whether it be queer, paraphilia, mental illness, etc. Pride is not good mentally. It's still just living for other people when you go about parading these things. I would understand a little better if it were about surviving despite the thing but let's be honest, it's usually just about being the thing. Plus, there is added Spite to that and I don't like it.
