I'm currently thinking about Tails taking care of a lobotomized Sonic. A forced procedure by Eggman, Tails recovers Sonic, devastated after finding out about the damage. It's hard coming to terms with the fact that the friend he once knew is now a quiet and docile hedgehog who can barely eat or run. But Tails takes care of him, tells him about their adventures, takes him out for walks. He wants Sonic to still be happy.
