@foxroom @Aogami commissioning in my experience is a collaborative process, usually the artist and buyer are going back and forth, discussing how to bring the idea to fruition. And buyers are picking specific artists because they are connecting with the work, in some way... I guess, most people don't appreciate this kind of labor, and what goes into it, and the reasons behind it. It's kind of like, valuing the journey over the destination to me. I'm really struggling to put into precise words how I feel about this. I'm usually discussing this topic with other artists who understand what I'm getting at a bit better.
