fuyumura has a very simular build to us, so it caught our attention when in the first episode after sanda transforms and he thinks to himself that from his new vantage point that she looks like a kid (implying he didnt think of her that way before). the series really interrogates childhood vs adulthood and the signifiers of both.fuyumura's height or maturity, or lack of maturity comes up regularly and there always seems to be a juxtaposition. between her body and her behavior or her age. we have a lot of thoughts about her. she's become sort of a comfort character. Before Sanda we've had conversations about which characters count as loli in anime and someone the build of fuyumura is ussualy disqualified. but in Sanda theres so much attention on the characters ages, arrested development (both mentally and physically) and the aesthetics of youth that im constantly looking at Fuyumura as a sort of liminal being. seeing a lanky person as a loli despite not being petite is an interesting stance...
anyway i put her in a diaper bc she deserves to feel small. it brings me catharsis
