It just comes off hypocritical to me these days as well. How you'll hear preaching about community and mutual aid and helping each other, but that all goes away if you're not the right kind of person. Like you don't act in a "respectable" way. Even the people who would say they're not like that still are, just about different people, like anybody who identifies with a paraphillia. It's quite frankly disgusting to me.
