(Positive) IRL Life update - Consult finished regarding foreskin restoration surgery
I'm happy to report my consult went well!Dr. Gunther was very kind, answered all my questions, has expanded his expertise to include 3 different types of restoration surgery and we narrowed it down to what would best fit me, and left me feeling confident and understood in not just what I wanted but also fully knowledgeable about what the surgery entails and my likelihood of success as well as the potential risks. It felt super validating to finally get to talk to someone who fully understood those of us restoring our foreskin and the reasons why we'd seek a surgical solution whether we be barely past the CI-4 hump or like me straddling the like between CI6/7
Unfortunately the quoted cost of the procedure is of considerable expense. I was estimated between 10-25k prior to my consult and left with a price quote of 18,500 as an outpatient or 23,400 as an inpatient... So... Yikes. That's gonna be quite a ways out to save up on.
