oh yeah we also...released an album today...oops. its called Kill Your Darlings.
we queued this album up to post bc it was supposed to be a goal for the subathon we did recently. we didnt meet the goal but we were motivated to release it despite working on better album art .the whole point was to kill your darlings and we were being perfectionists about it. the current album art is a traditional sketch we did at anthrocon that was supposed to be a placeholder.
but the more we thought about it, considered what this album is, a collection of songs we finished from various albums we never completed, leaving the album art unfinished seems kinda funny and right?
we are planning to charge for this album but we think we'll make it free until antrhocon starts on july 2nd. we saw an artist do that last year and thought it would be pretty cool. and anthrocon is the place we drew this, and where we'll be soon. happy pride. or...pragmatic pride, we're cheering for your survival

chaistyrune day 3. posting this one from yesterday. didnt post this one here cause we were too tired, but we have been posting them on bluesky first for some reason. we really need to get postybirb or something lol
we obviously have a brainworm for Kris but we've newly awakened to drawing Dess and can't get enough of her, so we did a continuation of day two's piece. Dess and Kris' fun day at the park continues here. we'll probably do more for this scenario at some point later >//<
but if we do art today that'll be day 4. i guess we'll see what we can see. we'll be busy today so it will probably not be as involved of a piece as these last 2. but busy also means we dont have to worry as much about dodging spoilers

day two of chasityrune which we thought we posted here but guess not? chasityrune for the uninitiated is the art challenge we made up to do while we abstain from playing the new chapter of deltarune for an undetermined amount of time (maybe until august?). we draw chastity,restraint or somehow related themes in art. so by design if u haven't played ch 5 our fanart wont spoil you. we dont hold ourselves to strictly make art for this every day, but every now and then.
before this we'd never drew an interpretation of Dess. think it came out pretty well!

There r so many LGBT+ loli and shota we love but Dororo is a key shota in our menagerie!

watching the recent anime adaption w/o context other than "this is an anime abt a disabled guy fighting 2get his limbs back from demons" totally blindsided us w the brocon agegap queer romance
course the reading of Dororo & Hyakkimaru being Yaoi rests upon a trans reading of Dororo himself, which is where the trouble started as we noticed an overwhelming amount of friction from those invested in a conservative reading of Dororo as a girl & will not hear otherwise
we also noticed some queer fans willing to engage with Dororo being a transboy but ran into the issue of the problematic age gap and so leaned away from engaging with the whole work or talking abt it bc of embarrassment (or disgust).

loli? , nudity, messy diaper fuyumura has a very simular build to us, so it caught our attention when in the first episode after sanda transforms and he thinks to himself that from his new vantage point that she looks like a kid (implying he didnt think of her that way before). the series really interrogates childhood vs adulthood and the signifiers of both.
fuyumura's height or maturity, or lack of maturity comes up regularly and there always seems to be a juxtaposition. between her body and her behavior or her age. we have a lot of thoughts about her. she's become sort of a comfort character. Before Sanda we've had conversations about which characters count as loli in anime and someone the build of fuyumura is ussualy disqualified. but in Sanda theres so much attention on the characters ages, arrested development (both mentally and physically) and the aesthetics of youth that im constantly looking at Fuyumura as a sort of liminal being. seeing a lanky person as a loli despite not being petite is an interesting stance...

anyway i put her in a diaper bc she deserves to feel small. it brings me catharsis
