I think generally the player characters of Pokémon are designed well despite being blanker than a blank slate personality wise. At least it makes it more fun to inject a personality into them.

and then things that bug other people that I find neutral or am confused about the rage towards
- monster designs based on objects - being very specific about which characters in a ship are top/bottom or dom/sub and never having them switch ever - shipping characters going against their "canonical" sexuality - water levels in general - "as you know" - feet and inflation fetish - genderbends - OOC in fanworks. Official media is a different story -comic sans and other fonts when it fits the style
Then things that peeve me off but I can get past or see the point in (not exhaustive)
- having characters that are interesting or development or are just really neat die. This is situational but I am just a sad sack at the end of the day - giving established characters a "hentai protagonist face" when they have an actual face and personality. This usually happens in male/female porn with the male - third act breakups - straight couples in sitcoms who clearly have Issues that make you wonder why they are still married. I have never seen this with any other kind of couple combo, it's JUST straight couples, I could go on a rant about this actually - trans/disability headcanons that are based on a few superficial traits/stereotypes and aren't expanded beyond that. Or rather the peeving thing is when it becomes fandom wide and you get labeled a bigot for thinking differently - "this character is -coded" for several reasons - gijinka of animal characters
- STDs. I genuinely think they are the least attractive thing on the planet - nearly every variation of scat fetish (eating, hyper, torture). I can tolerate it if it directly follows vore and digestion (disposal) - smegma, it's too distracting - cartoons that need to have several noises at every second, it's extremely overstimulating - mouthpieces, especially if the artist didn't make the character
I don't have a lot of pet peeves or hard nos when it comes to art/tropes. Most things I can just get past or they mildly confuse me and I'll find something else I like about a media. Even some of the stuff on my "No" F-list I can tolerate if there's something else I like adjacent to it.
I find it kind of hard to relate to yumejoshi beyond a "live your truth" kind of feeling. Because I don't like inserting myself into fiction except if it's extremely comedic and exaggerated. So it's confusing to me when yume get particular about how other people portray their SOs, cause to me it's just someone else having a different view of a character I like, not something to get that mad over. But it's different for them. I can understand where they are coming from but can't internalize the feeling myself
I like this kind of rape scenario when one person is forced to watch someone they care about be assaulted. You can really feel Roy's anguish and confusion from looking at his face, as he watches the tears fall from his father Eliwood's face. (I wish I knew what he was stuttering in that small speech bubble)
I wish Sonic had more options for cub characters. I like about, half of what's there. I like Tails and Amy but it's mostly their classic forms that have the cub energy.
I like Cream as well, though I don't see many fan portrayals of her that I can get into, cause they usually make her into a brat, and that's not quite who she is. I imagine her as assertive but agreeable and maybe in a slight rush to grow up.
Then there is... Marine and Charmy. I have no real interest in Marine, and I don't like Modern Charmy. Classic Charmy is a teenager and has the personality of one so not quite cub energy.
I would say Classic Amy Rose has loli energy too. She definitely fits like a "platonic ideal" of little girl femininity. What I like about her is that she also has a small streak of "tough" interests like being good at driving and using a blunt object like a hammer.
