oh good news for me, i don't have to upgrade my version of postgres, so now i have less stress about fucking shit up lol
obviously still gonna backup the database which will still take up a good chunk of time making sure i do it right, but this might take a lot less longer to do than i thought :p
@sumatsuki oh if what you're talking about is you want posts that don't show up in public timelines, only when boosted, the "unlisted" privacy option is for that
y'know what i got some time to kill before i get to play games with Friends, i'll go ahead n set that up
...i wonder if there'd be a way to force people to follow accounts. i'd only utilize that power to get everyone to follow the announcements account and nothing more x3
it will require a bit of fussing with the database, i remember asking specifics in the support chat a lil while ago, so i'll have to dig up that chat to figure out what to do lol
and ofc i'll make sure we get a nice backup going before we do that
oh shoot i'm only now finding out iceshrimp got updated (i can't follow the main dev so i don't know when it gets updated lol)
