they only changed one thing. they didn't even change it, they just said "oh youth liberation also means this", while also still fundamentally misunderstanding what it is
and would you guess they tossed out everything else i said? of course that's what happened, because as we all know, nuanace is dead and every one of us here are complicit in child abuse i guess.
fuck me for even trying huh, seeing that my email did reach them, just for them to clearly ignore everything i said, almost taunting me for even trying .-.
i try to be cordial about this stuff since i know people can have their minds changed... but i should've expected someone who words stuff like this wouldn't respond kindly lmfao

of course i'm gonna be pissed the fuck off i'm being lumped in with the same people who caused me to have these traumas, when these pixels on the screen aren't hurting me, nor hurting any of you looking at this post.
it does hurt people, but guess fucking what, a baseball bat can easily hurt people too, yet we don't see people decrying the concept of a baseball bat, y'know?
re: vagueposting about some "article", CSA relateda lil addendum is that i also think the way they talk about session is bullshit too. session is infamous for it's CSAM problem, of course, that fucking sucks. but the way they've worded it in this webpage gives off the air of "and that's why encrypted chat is dangerous". this is literally the excuse governments give for trying to dismantle encrypted chats, the "think of the children" excuse.
if you're making an article about how to spot child predators, and you go for the "think of the children" excuse, you are not qualified to be writing it, and should sit down and shut the fuck up.

well, of course, they can't help themselves and start blaming lolisho for it. they say that "🌈🍖" is a "radqueer" symbol; which last i checked, no it fucking isn't? if they're trying to "claim" it, then way to go you dipshits, you're giving them legitimacy.
then they have to conflate what "youth liberation" is, by saying it's exclusively a term used by predators who want to sexually abuse kids. of course, that is not the fucking case at all, they're appropriating terminology. youth liberation is actually about the desire for kids to have more rights... that is to say, they deserve to be treated like people. it just so happens that some people want to appropriate that for their awful use-cases, and by conflating the two, this """article""" gives their conflation legitimacy.
and of course, they gotta say "oh while lolisho/cub isn't the same as CSAM...it's literally vital grooming material :)"
there's a lot of good stuff in the webpage... but it's all bogus if it's written by someone who wants to treat what i do as being equivalent to grooming. y'know. the thing i'm currently coping with. and doing so, effectively, with explicit approval by my own fucking therapist.
you had something going, but you couldn't keep your bullshit biases to yourself, you're propagating misinfo that actively keeps child predators safe by misdirecting people's attention away from what the real dangers are.
