I feel so complicated over the tiktok ban usdiftsyaguI've always wanted that app to just fucking die already bc of how toxic it is. It's full of antis and art snobs who bully the ever loving fuck out of everyone and spread harmful misinformation and discourse about everything. But like??? I don't WANT people to lose their jobs and become homeless either?!
I saw a video recommended to me of a black tiktokker who gets treated as a lolcow talking about the ban and holy fuck??? the comments people would say to her is just...so dehumanizing??? like saying she had "Neanderthal" facial features and that they can't wait for "this thing" to get "a real job" already and help her mom.... and then full on capitalist rants bragging how their own mom owns a mcdonalds and fires all her employees because of "how incompetent" they are. THAT'S YOUR MOM'S FAULT THO YOU FUCKING BOOTLICKER UFIDSFYIUTI
Like the racism with the anti chinese conspiracy theories with tiktok was already bad enough???? lolcow culture is crawling with the most evil people, and they think their abusive behavior is justified towards these kinds of people online because they're already "problematic" anyways. 9 times out of 10, they just want to find any excuse they could get to torture visibly mentally ill people online along other marginalized backgrounds. They don't care about "holding them accountable" or whatever, i dont think they've ever given a fuck about accountability in the first place.
ya anyways, i really hope these creators dont become homeless and find other platforms to survive on????
